Classroom Teaching Assistant (TA) – Key Stage 2
Start date: 4 September 2017.
Salary: (SP3): £15,307 – £17,316 pro rata per annum, Full Time Equivalent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.15pm, term time only.
Queen Eleanor’s is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in partnership with our Teachers, and under direction from our SENCo, to provide additional support to our pupils.
We are an expanding local junior school and are recruiting for TAs to join our fantastic team from September 2017. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, adaptable, and willing to work hard in order to encourage our pupils’ success. Previous school experience is preferable and energy, flexibility and a sense of humour are pre-requisites for this role. You will become a key member of our friendly and highly committed staff.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has good numeracy and literacy skills
- Is committed to making learning fun, relevant and enjoyable
- Is a good communicator and works well in a team
- Has recent experience of working with Primary aged children
- Understands and supports pupil wellbeing

We have a vacancy at Queen Eleanor’s for a Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team. You will be working lunchtimes, 11.55am – 1.10pm, Monday-Friday during term time only ( 38 weeks per year) . To start as soon as possible.
This is a rewarding opportunity for an enthusiastic and friendly person who is willing to supervise our children at lunchtimes. Please review the job description for further details. The successful candidate will also be required to undertake regular training, provided by the school, including First Aid, in order to be able to give basic first aid to pupils as needed.
