Queen Eleanor’s School is situated in the heart of Onslow Village, on the west side of Guildford and in the shadow of the Cathedral and the University of Surrey to the one side, and the Downs and the Hogs Back on the other. We are also very fortunate that we have Guildford town centre and the main line railway station less than a mile away, as well as the A3 running nearby. A map of the school and its surrounding area can be accessed by clicking here, or alternatively the school’s location can be found on the catchment area maps on the Admissions page.
Spiritually the residents are well served by All Saints’ Parish Church which is very close by, as well as the Cathedral on Stag Hill. In addition St Nicolas’ Church can be found on the edge of the town centre near to the River Wey.
For sports facilities Queen Eleanor’s School is fortunate to have its own pool and extensive fields, while there are playing fields, a tennis club and children’s play area in Onslow Village itself. Nearby we have the world class Surrey Sports Park and award winning council-owned Spectrum leisure complex with competition and leisure pools, ice skating, tenpin bowling and other sports facilities.
