Today was Stone Age day.

The children looked magnificent in their costumes - as you can see in the photos. As part of the day, we had to choose the best area to set up camp making sure we were close to the river, had shelter from the weather and were not prone to flooding. We also had to learn to hunt the magnificent Wooly Papworth (3 of 5 groups were successful), build a fire, make a bow and arrow, make butter, produce a cave painting and carve a spear head.
