Weekly Reminders 16/3/2026
- Please book lunches in advance on Scopay.
- Please make sure that everything your child brings to school is named.
- Please check your child’s hair for headlice and treat if necessary.
- Club Bookings for Summer Term open on Monday 16th from 12:30pm (see letter)
- Odd Socks Day Friday 20th – voluntary donations to Stepping Stones DS (local charity supporting children with Down Syndrome)

- Comic Relief Red Nose Day is also on Friday.
- PSA Book Sale after Friday 3:15pm under the gazebo. 50p per book. Cash and card/mobile payments (of £1 or more) accepted. Please leave your age appropriate (7-12) second hand book donations in reception any day next week. Fiction and non-fiction welcome.
- Drama club performances on Monday and Thursday at 3:45pm
- Parents’ Evening bookings close on Friday 20th at 9:00am.
- Cookery Club is cancelled until the end of term – please email the office with your choice of either an early QE Meadows session to cover childcare (no charge) or alternative collection arrangements and a refund.
- If you DO NOT want your child to be offered a henna tattoo for Ramadan, please let the office know by Friday 20th.
- Y4,5 & 6 Girls Football Tournament on Wednesday 18th at Tormead after school (selected children).

- From now on, the homework sheets will no longer be printed off for every child.
- Please talk to your class teacher directly if you need a printed copy.
- Spelling has changed from being fortnightly to weekly. Your child will have 6 words, which relate to a spelling rule, to learn every week.
- Please ensure that you listen to your child read at least 3 times a week and record in their reading records as these will checked weekly by your child's class teacher.
- All homework will be set on Monday.

Comprehension: Please read the poem below and answer the relevant questions. Due 16th March.
Spelling: This week we are focusing on common prefixes. These words will be tested on the 16th March.
Times tables: This week please focus on the 10 times table. Please continue to use TTRS to practice. If needed, please use the sheet below. Tested on 13th March.
